Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Cherokee National Holiday office is seeking proposals from activities, entertainment, and amusement ride vendors. The annual Cherokee National Holiday is a festival that attracts over 100,000 visitors to Tahlequah, Oklahoma during the week prior to Labor Day. The 72nd Cherokee National Holiday will take place on August 30th – September 1, 2024. Activities, entertainment, and amusement rides will be located at One Fire Field (17475-17551 Muskogee Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464) and we expect up to 8,500 to 10,500 daily visitors. The Cherokee National Holiday is seeking revenue generating or profit-sharing partnerships and other opportunities with vendors specializing in activities, entertainment, and amusement rides. Activities, entertainment, and amusement rides will likely be located outdoors or under a tent (which may or may not be climate controlled). Within activities, we are seeking family-friendly vendors who specialize in experience focused outdoor fun for all ages. Activities may include but are not limited to craft and play areas, a petting zoo, traditional or carnival games, mazes, water parks, inflatable parks, photo booths, giant slides, climbing walls, and more. Within entertainment, we are seeking acts within categories of bands, ensembles, singers, musicians, comedy, storytelling, theatre, actors, speakers, walkabout, acoustic, and dj. Performances can be solo or feature multiple members. Entertainment may include but is not limited to puppet shows, sing-alongs, magic shows, ventriloquist, or musical live performances.
