Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work of the Project includes Improvements to the community’s water storage capabilities, which consist of demolishing the existing water storage tank and abandoned water treatment plant, and erecting a new insulated 113,000 gallon water storage tank with ring foundation and associated appurtenances. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, testing, and incidentals to complete all Work required by these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings and shall have experience with water storage tank construction. Work under this contract will include 1. Establish temporary water disinfection and storage system. 2. Complete a hazardous building materials survey (HBMS) for the existing WST and abandoned water treatment plant (WTP). Abate and dispose of hazardous waste in conformance with survey recommendations and regulatory requirements. 3. Demolish the abandoned water treatment plant and water storage tank, steel grade retention ring foundation to extents shown, piping, appurtenances, and insulation package and as required for new construction.
