Specifications include, but are not limited to: ODDS is soliciting Proposals from interested parties to work with ODDS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop and implement an enabling technology program that includes new, creative, and innovative ideas designed to implement the enabling technology program for Individuals with I/DD who receive ODDS services in the following areas: Enabling Technology Communication Plan - Develop an enabling technology communication plan for Self-Advocates, Case Management Entities (CMEs), ODDS service Providers, partners, and Individual’s and their families or legal guardian(s) that includes: 1. Outreach regarding the purpose and importance of enabling technology for Individuals with I/DD. 2. Gathering information regarding enabling technology needs and desired outcomes to incorporate new, creative, and innovative ideas into the Project. 3. Provide updated information about the ODDS enabling technology project. 4. Use methods such as assessment tools, Communities of Practice, surveys, or other mechanisms for outreach and gathering data. Project Development and Implementation - Using information gathered from the communication plan, work with ODDS Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and meet project goals of providing enabling technology to ODDS Individuals and their families and or legal guardians(s), ODDS staff, CMEs, ODDS Provider Agencies and partners. 1. Develop an enabling technology assessment tool to determine needs and objectives for ODDS Individuals that will be incorporated into the project. 2. Develop and present in person and or online enabling technology training. Successful candidate will: i. Work with ODDS to determine the number, frequency and duration of trainings. ii. Deliver recorded virtual trainings to ODDS. iii. Collect, analyze, and report feedback from enabling technology trainings to ODDS for quality assurance and training enhancement. 3. Develop Enabling Technology Resource Access Report. i. Identify and evaluate assistive devices and technology lending libraries in Oregon. ii. Create a list of vendors who provide assistive devices and technology providers in and outside of Oregon. iii. Provide the report to ODDS electronically, in an unlocked or unprotected, modifiable format. 4.
