Specifications include, but are not limited to: satisfy the State’s need for a highly flexible and configurable statewide remote circulation service (SRCS) that exposes multiple libraries' catalogs and collections to patrons and makes it possible for patrons from all library types and from all geographic parts within the state to discover needed items in the statewide catalog and to request them using an unmediated request, minimizing staff effort and intervention. It is the intent of the Indiana State Library to contract with a respondent that provides quality software for its SRCS. The ideal system would facilitate discovery and streamline fulfillment workflows by seamlessly integrating with all local ILS, LSP and discovery layers, as well as with traditional ILL management systems.
