Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sage Estimating Custom Database standardization, validating and coordination. WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) support and organization. Assembly integration into custom database, including validation. Modeling integration into custom database, including validation. Custom Report creation and support, including validation. Recommend solutions to avoid corruption and errors that would cause future work to be problematic. All services to be installed, tested and approved by UW-Madison Master Estimator. - All "Shops" must have a detailed database to generate a "Bill of Materials". -All "Shops" must have the ability for a variety of personnel to create estimates. This could range from an entry level project engineer, superintendent, estimators and even designers/engineers. To aid the "Project Engineer Types" database must have the ability to generate estimates from various "Trade Specific Interviews" to avoid missing critical items from both "Labor and Material". The Consulting group is required to build both "Activities and Project Level Questionnaires" to help mitigate and educate this "Personnel Class". To aid the "Superintendent Types" must have the same abilities listed above as well as just selecting various "Items" to create the "Bill of Materials" to communicate with "Stores". To aid the "Estimator Types" must have the same abilities listed above but also be able to generate estimates from numerous "Trades" and not just the "Shop" they are dedicated to. To aid the "Designer Types" must have the same abilities listed above but also "Conceptual/High Level" enough to generate "Budget Estimates" at a "Bill of Materials" without getting overly "Detailed". -All "Departments/Personnel Types" must be able to generate "Various Reports and Integration(s)". The ability to create reports ranging from "Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI as well as integrating thru Sage's SDK.
