Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnish and delivery of disability parking permits (placards) and decals for the Statewide Parking for Persons with Disabilities Program. Long term placards shall be a High Density Polyethylene, 35 mil in thickness, 4" x "9 dimension, background color of blue placard shall be, text (International Symbol of Access), placards shall be numbered sequentially beginning with P-256-701, see attached long term placard specifications for solicitation description. Temporary placards shall be a High Density Polyethylene, 35 mil in thickness, 4" x "9 dimension, background color of red placard shall be, text (International Symbol of Access), placards shall be numbered sequentially beginning with T-174-001, see attached temporary placard specifications for solicitation description. The month (2.0" x 1.25") and year (1.25" x 1.25") decals are to be printed in black on a white background. The material shall be resistant to cracking, peeling, blistering or temperature change when applied to a parking placard of not less than sixty (60) months under normal conditions of use. Decals shall be flexible and of such composition that once applied, it cannot be removed intact. Decal material shall be white 3M Scotchlite Validation Security Sheeting #5470ER or equal. The letters and numbers shall be in 60-point Arial, bolded, and centered on the decal with equivalent margins above and below the text. The decal shall be easily removed by a scallop score backside to bend and peel the decal to the parking placard. See attached, month and year decal specifications for solicitation.
