Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replace approximately 50 sq ft of rotten fascia & soffit with like materials & approximately 440 sq ft of aluminum screen wire and wooden strips holding it. Clean and prep for paint all windows shutters; shutters shall be removed to perform all work and reinstalled when work is completed. Clean windows prior to any work and ensure proper sash operation. Reglaze all panes with linseed oil-based glazing compound such as Sarco or equal. No modern 3M or similar products or tubed glazing compounds are permitted. All glazing rabbets shall be lightly coated in boiled linseed oil prior to reglazing. All finished glazing shall have dry, powdered joint compound dusted on them to absorb excess oil, using a light brush, and technique. This may also be used to remove excess oil from the glass. Replace weather stripping on bottom rail of lower sash in each unit using bronzed weather stripping or approved replacement. Caulk any cracks or openings between brick and brick mold with outdoor silicone caulking or sand mastic.; Contractor shall install new screen to frames and install new ¾”x1” wooden strips on all 2”x4” on the exterior screen frame, using 1.5- inch nails.
