Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Stakeholder and Resident Engagement o 1) Working with partners and anchor institutions to identify leveraged financial commitments o 2) Attend Community Meetings, including but not limited to taskforce meetings, People, Housing, Neighborhood Committee meetings, stakeholder meetings, and Early Activities Meeting o 3) Work with all participants in visioning and strategy development • Neighborhood Context/Background/ Existing Conditions o Assist the HANO team in analyzing findings from needs assessments (both qualitative and quantitative findings) and Market Study o Assist the HANO team with identifying other planning activities/ efforts in the neighborhood. • Neighborhood Plan o Assist in the creation of a vision, goals, outcomes, and metrics for the neighborhood plan o Assist in the creation of a strategy for ensuring the long-term economic, educational, and environmental viability of the neighborhood (through the enhancement of developmental, commercial, recreational, physical, and social assets) o Assist in creating the strategy for public and private investment by improving the quality of neighborhood housing, reducing vacancy rates, and fostering mixed income in the neighborhood. o Assist in the creation of a strategy to address effective public schools, public safety, sustainable development, and amenities • Housing Plan o Assist in the creation of a vision, goals, outcomes, and metrics for the housing plan o Assist in the identification of housing strategies for HANO residents and other lowincome families of New Orleans o Assist in the strategy for financing the targeted Housing Authority of New Orleans • People Plan o Assist in the creation of a vision, goals, outcomes, and metrics for the people plan o Assist in the creation of plans for supportive services, education, early education, employment, health • Implementation of the plan o Assist in the identification of early action activities, partner roles and responsibilities, and leveraging of resources
