Specifications include, but are not limited to: Field Oversight Conduct field oversight and evaluation of site assessment and corrective action work conducted by responsible parties with the objective of determining conformity and consistency with NDEP project objectives and technical requirements, NDEP-approved project documents, applicable NDEP and EPA guidance, and relevant peer-reviewed scientific and technical literature in accordance with NDEP direction. Conduct additional multi-media environmental sampling at the direction of the NDEP. A secondary objective is to provide NDEP with suggestions and supporting rationale for proposed changes or corrections to work conducted by responsible parties. Document Review and Comment Perform review of technical documents with the objective of determining conformity and consistency with NDEP project objectives and technical requirements, NDEP-approved project documents, applicable NDEP and EPA guidance, and relevant peer-reviewed scientific and technical literature in accordance with NDEP direction. A secondary objective is to provide NDEP with suggestions and supporting rationale for proposed changes or corrections to work conducted by responsible parties. Public Outreach Support Provide NDEP with professional services to assist in performing outreach to general public, other involved governmental agencies.
