Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Tulsa is requesting Bids for Sludge Conveyor System Replacement for the Water &Sewer Department of the City of Tulsa. This service work shall consist of the demolishing of theexisting conveyor system and installing a new conveyor belt system, supplied by the City of Tulsa,located at the Mohawk Water Treatment Plant Sludge Dewatering Building. Project also includescomplete removal and disposal of existing conveyor system. The site is located at 3600 E. MohawkBlvd., Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74115. The Sludge Dewatering building utilizes a Serpentix conveyor beltsystem. This conveyor belt system has been in operation for twenty-nine (29) years and is needingto be replaced as replacement parts for the current system are becoming obsolete. The newconveyor belt system will be in-kind to the existing system. The existing conveyor belt in the SludgeDewatering building is to be demolished and removed. The new conveyor belt will need to beassembled/installed in the same area and configuration onsite in place of the current conveyorsystem. No work shall be completed during the high-flow season between June 1st-September30th.All work shall be performed during normal business hours on Monday through Friday, exceptwith express written consent from the Plant Superintendent.
