Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Vail School District is requesting proposals for a Wide Area Network to support existing and anticipated instructional and administrative needs of the District between its hub, located at Cienega High School, and the location of a to be constructed new K-8 school at Rocking K. The District currently uses leased-dark fiber in a star topology back to its hub (Cienega High School). The District is seeking a high reliability solution, and will accept Optical Ethernet or Wireless proposals. The District is seeking proposals for one of three options. Offerors are not required to respond to all options. The district is interested in Leased Lit or Leased Dark Fiber solutions, depending on construction costs. If the quoted solution includes Non-Recurring costs, please provide options to mitigate large capital expenditures. 1. A fully managed, leased ‘lit’ service WAN with pricing at the required bandwidth levels outlined below. 2. A leased Dark Fiber solution that includes fiber maintenance and operations. 3. Services provided over third-party networks other than fiber. Services must meet the uptime, latency, jitter, contention, packet loss standards of the lit service WAN.
