Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Harris seeks a contractor to operate the water and wastewater treatment plants. The water and wastewater treatment facilities were built in 2005 and in 2006, and the water usage was available to users June 7, 2007 while the wastewater was fully available to users May 12, 2008. It is imperative that the City of Harris have a water and wastewater treatment plant operator that provides reliable, efficient service and operation. The City of Harris has established as its primary goal the highest level of service to its customers and clients. All operating entities in the City of Harris must adhere to the following objectives: Offer services according to the highest industry standards and in the best interest of the City of Harris, and the State of Minnesota. Operate in a manner consistent with the public interest, providing the City of Harris with full accountability for, and accurate records of all transactions conducted within the City of Harris. Exert every effort to maximize the financial efficiencies of the operation and maintenance of the Plant through proper management. Provide the highest level of service and cooperation to tenants and customers of the City of Harris. The selected company must be able to demonstrate substantial experience with similar projects and the availability of the full range of skills and expertise necessary to carry out the work in a professional manner.
