Specifications include, but are not limited to: The 2024 PCC Reconstruction Program – NW Westwood Street project includes pavement reconstruction and minor utility improvements along NW Westwood Street from just north of NW 5th Street to just south of NW 9th Street in the City of Ankeny. The construction improvements include the slip-form paving of approximately 3,600 SY of 7” thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement and 550 SY of 6” thick PCC Class C residential driveways. Other associated improvements include Class 10 excavation, subgrade preparation, modified subbase placement, subdrain installation, removal and replacement of storm sewer structures, minor adjustments to existing storm sewer structures, temporary surface restoration, compost amendment of existing topsoil, permanent surface restoration, temporary traffic control, mobilization, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project.
