Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Public Safety’s division State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), serves to reduce crime and increase security. Their mission is to provide professional investigative services to all people by investigating crime and working with allied agencies and the community. SBI currently does not have a standardized evidence intake process, which has caused some problems with receiving and returning evidence. They are currently expanding their Digital/Cellular Forensics unit and looking to have a fully functioning and equipped cellular forensics lab that meets the industry standards. They have built an online form with a backend spreadsheet to track the devices through the cellular forensics process. These lockers and online intake forms will allow agents to submit cellular devices for forensic analysis 24/7 without waiting for a handoff to one of the forensic examiners. SBI is requesting an off-the-shelf or custom-fabricated cellular charging locker to fit this available space in the wall with the dimensions of 56” H x 59” W and the depth can be no more than 18” as this is a pass-through in an 8” brick wall. It must have a minimum of 25 Independent cell phone charging bays; each cell phone charging bay that features one (1) Triple head USB Charging Cable, micro USB-Lightning, USB type C, house USB power supply, and provide assembly to be designed to allow for USB cabling to exist within structural support channels, includes a 10’ long power cord with standard NEMA 5-15p power plug. This locker will be a pass-through design for troopers to drop devices off on one side of the wall, and then the forensics team will collect the devices through the other side. The preferred locking device is a slide lock that can't be reopened from the outside and only be accessed from the pass-through. Must include all delivery and installation costs. Delivery and installation must be completed no later than 28th of March, 2024, however, we are requesting this as soon as possible.
