Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rhode Island Army National Guard (RIANG) is soliciting quotes from qualified firms to install seven (7) turn-key electric vehicle charging stations at the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) at Camp Fogarty. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: Planning and Technical Development: a. Provide all drawings, calculations, engineering, schedules, submittals, etc necessary to obtain all permits, permissions, and preconstruction approvals required for the project. 2021-1.A Page 2 of 3 Revised 01/17/2023 b. Confirm that all equipment specified in this solicitation are suitable and appropriate for the designated use. c. Provide all preconstruction documents as designated in schedule C – Supplemental conditions. Site Work: a. Site Survey: The contractor will conduct a survey to review the site requirements for the designated installation location(s). b. Site Preparation: The site will be prepared to ensure that the area is level and free of debris or other obstacles that may interfere with installation. Barriers, fencing and other necessary equipment will be installed to assure both public and work site safety for the duration of the project. c. Excavation: Provide all general excavation, pavement, and concrete cutting, trenching, bedding, encasement, conduit, and wiring required for the project. d. Restoration: All roadways, walkways, lawns, irrigation, and landscaping will be restored to its original condition. e. Protective Bollard(s): A protective bollard shall be installed in front of each charging station. Equipment Installation: a. Charging Stations: [Seven (7) level II ChargePoint EVSE CT-4021 Dual Port Bollard Mount Electric Vehicle Charging Stations] will be installed at the site, including all necessary hardware and software. Installation shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions as described in [CT4000 Make-Ready Requirements Specification]. b. Mounting: The charging stations will be mounted securely to a concrete pad or other suitable foundation according to the manufacturer’s specification and equipped with a protective bollard(s). c. Conduit and Wiring: Conduit and wiring will be installed from the charging stations to the electrical panel. Software, Cloud Plan, Warranty, Support a. The ChargePoint equipment shall include a Prepaid Commercial Cloud Plan subscription with station management features for 5 years. b. Initial Station Activation & Configuration Service. c. 5 prepaid years of ChargePoint Assure.
