Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall provide Agency with the Contract Items listed below on an open-end and continuing basis. Contract Items must meet or exceed the mandatory requirements as shown below. 4.1 Under general supervision the Housekeeper shall perform routine entry level manual work cleaning in and around the WVVNF which shall include resident rooms, dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, shower rooms, offices, hallways, stairs, lobbies, parking lot and driveway, Chapel, library and other areas assigned. 4.2 Housekeepers may be assigned to assist with maintaining inventories of cleaning and linen supplies. 4.3 The Housekeeper will have little latitude to vary methods, procedures, or equipment used. 4.4 Housekeepers must pass a drug screening and will be subject to a random drug screening at any time. Any associated cost will be paid by the Vendor. 4.5 Housekeepers must pass a criminal background check through WV Cares and will be subject to such at any time during the contract. Any associated costs will be paid by the Vendor. Any federal criminal history or current federal criminal charges will prohibit any person from working at the WVVNF. 4.6 Vendor must provide resumes and supporting documentation for selection and Agency will interview Vendors’ suggested Housekeepers prior to placement in the Agency. 4.7 Agency reserves the right to request removal and/or replacement of any Housekeeper at any time for any reason. 4.8 If/when a Housekeeper leaves the vendor will provide a replacement Housekeeper as soon as possible. 4.9 If no replacement is provided within two weeks, Vendor may be considered in default of contract and the WVVNF reserves the right to look for another Vendor. 4.10 Housekeepers’ normal work hours will vary and will include evenings and weekends. 4.11 Housekeepers may be assigned to work on Holidays. 4.11.1 Official State Holidays are: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, West Virginia Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. 4.11.2 Housekeepers assigned to work the above-listed Holidays will be paid their normal hourly rate for hours worked plus their normal hourly rate for up to 8 hours of Holiday Pay.
