Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Hamden is looking for a consultant to develop a Community Plan to support theimplementationofprojectsinHamden’sNewhallandHighwoodneighborhoods.Thecoredeliverables associated with the scope of work include the following, and detailed further below: 2•The selected Consultant will be responsible for the development of a CommunityEngagement Strategy (CES). The CES shall include, but may not be limited to:oThe Consultant(s) approach to building trust with residentsoMethods for facilitating community meetings.oMethods for gathering and summarizing community input.oApproach to collecting data and sharing data.•Manage the convening and facilitation of a series of community engagement sessionswhich will be used to review, discuss and develop implementation plans for Townsponsored activities and investments in the Newhall and Highwood neighborhoods.• Development a Newhall-Highwood Community Plan document that considers residents’ priorities and goals for their community. The document will include, but is not limited to,separate sections for each of the initiatives. Each section of the document will include methods used to engage the community, resident feedback, survey results, and graphical representation of community needs/priorities and projects.
