Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Mesa seeks the service of firms or individuals to perform a comprehensive mobility and parking study of the Downtown Mesa area. The study will provide recommendations to improve conditions for pedestrians, bikes, scooters, and other forms of micro-mobility as well as future mobility advancements such as autonomous shuttles and vehicles; assess parking demands and needs; and improve wayfinding for parking, transit, and major attractions. The study should examine the impact on these categories based on daytime uses, nightlife, and urban living within the downtown area with the goal of providing safe, comfortable, efficient, and innovative mobility options that enhances and supports the growth and vibrancy of Downtown Mesa, while considering connections to adjacent neighborhoods. The mobility study must outline an actionable blueprint and clear vision of multimodal transportation movement throughout the downtown area today and for the next ten (10) years.
