Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor selected via this solicitation shall be an established individual or business in the primary field of golf course maintenance within the past five years with experience in turf management conditions found in the desert southwest. These conditions may be met if one or more of the proposer's principals, partners or corporate officers have equivalent experience. The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor and supervision to professionally maintain and improve upon the existing Golf Course in accordance with the specifications of the RFP. This work force shall include a trained and experienced Golf Course Superintendent, preferably a Class A Superintendent who is a current member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) with a competent record of employment and a work history of contract service in the management of a similar golf course property. The Superintendent must have experience in golf course maintenance in Arizona or other arid southwest climate and have experience in warm season grass. The selected Contractor shall also provide supervision over the selected Contractor's working personnel at the golf course. Maintenance activities must be coordinated with the City's Representative. The selected Contractor shall make work assignments necessary to meet the obligations contained herein and make seasonal or other required adjustments as required. The selected Contractor shall also ensure that its employees maintain a neat and orderly personal appearance in keeping with the City's image. All employees shall be neatly attired at all times in a manner that will reflect on both the selected Contractor and the City. The selected Contractor and its employees' interaction with the public must be courteous and professional at all times.
