Specifications include, but are not limited to: In general, the work consists of removing 83,540 square feet of existing synthetic turf soccer field playing surface along with infill and e-layer shock pad below down to the existing subgrade stone layer. Campus will contract for the new soccer field playing surface with crumb rubber and infill, the e-layer shock pad, and the installation of same with a vendor of their choosing. The GPC will be responsible for coordinating with turf contractor selected and contracted by UW Milwaukee. Additional stone, by GPC, shall be added to level out the surface prior to Campus’ turf contractor installing a new 2” height synthetic turf system crumb rubber and sand infill, and a new shock pad below the entire surface. In addition, GPC concrete and fencing work is included to correct cracks and settling to adjacent areas of the field.
