Specifications include, but are not limited to: CLINT INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is soliciting proposals for the replacement of two (2) Network Core Switches to include the installation, configuration, and deployment of such devices as a turn key solution with support as outlined by the federal funding program known as E-Rate for Funding Year 24 (2024-2025). The District has fourteen (14) instructional facilities (hereinafter referred to as “schools” or “campus”), five (5) non-instructional facilities for operational support, and a central administration building (hereinafter referred to as “Central Office”). Campuses and supporting facilities connect to the existing Central Office core switches by 10G dedicated WAN connections. The district Central Office core switches also interconnect to edge firewalls, datacenter VMware infrastructure, datacenter storage devices and other switch stacks at the Central Office. The existing cores switches are end of life and need to be replaced.
