Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Forestry & Fire Protection, Fairbanks-Delta Area Office is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the development of a fuel break located approximately .5 miles south of the community of Anderson, Alaska. Successful contract performance will require the contractor to provide all the essential equipment/operators and, lodging/transportation to and from the site. The intent of this project is to create a 100-footwide linear fuel break by “roller chopping" the entire site resulting in crushing/chopping all brush, shrubs and small trees. All vendor submissions for the Anderson Fuel Break shall be subject to the requirements listed herein.
