Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Herbicide Application - Conduct treatments for all areas of invasive vegetation found within designated treatment areas using herbicides according to the label. Treatments should be documented through a data collection system in a contractor supplied smartphone or tablet hardware. 2. Biosecurity - The Contractor will clean all mud, sand, insects, and vegetative debris off vehicles and equipment (ATV’s, vehicles, trailers, implements, etc.) with a pressure washer prior to starting work on Coastal Preserve lands to prevent the introduction or spread of invasive species. All hand-held equipment such as hand sprayers, containment vessels, etc. must be wiped down so that they are free of contaminants prior to coming on Coastal Preserves property. 3. Total Cost Assessment - The price per acre must include all labor, materials (including herbicides), equipment, transportation, and other costs necessary to complete the project within the given time frame. It is highly recommended that the prospective bidder become familiar with each site before submitting their price offer.
