Specifications include, but are not limited to: This bid is for Forty (40) Safety Devices to be installed on the vehicles of Knoxville-Knox County Community Action Committee Transit Wheelchair Lift Vehicles that will prevent a wheelchair or other mobility device from rolling from the interior of the van onto the lift platform when the lift is cycling to or from the ground or is positioned on the ground. Bid price to include all costs associated with the purchase, delivery, and installation of the safety guards. • Quantity: Forty (40) • Devices must be able to automatically engage when the lift platform is cycling into the lowered position. • Device must be compatible with BraunAbility NCL2 Century Series lifts (both 800 lb. and 1000 lb. lifting capacity) currently installed in the Agency’s fleet of vehicles. • Installation: On-site installation • Device(s) must be transferrable to new vehicles when vehicles have met their useful life. • Support must be provided in the event of an equipment defect or malfunction. • Warranty: Must at least be three (3) years
