Specifications include, but are not limited to: complete replacement & installation of the battery string for an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), along with logistical support for staging and disposal. Proper EPA documentation is required. The chosen vendor will maintain the warranty. These UPS units are crucial for KU's Data Center, providing a seamless power backup during outages and safeguarding I/T equipment from utility-related problems. The UPS battery is located in the Price Computing Center and serves as the power link connecting the West utility feed to the Data Center. The replacement package encompasses the following elements Two-Hundred and Forty (240) Deka Unigy II 95-23L cells Must be of NEW manufacture Setup needs to be like-for-like (see pictures in Attachments tab of Ion Wave) Battery hardware must be replaced at the time of installation Same configuration with new battery hardware 2U double-buss connections Freight Pre-Installation Staging and Installation EPA-approved disposal of old batteries
