Anyone objecting to this purchase shall follow the procedures outlined below. 1. Description of the commodity that USM is seeking to procure: 1.) CS BASIC Glider Service Section Only 2.) ASSY, G3, NORTEK AD2CP, Stack on Bay 2. Explanation of why the commodity is the only one that meets the needs of the agency: The research program recently participated in the bid process for a glider trade-in (USM Bid 23-09). The bid was for a 1000m Ocean glider and receiving credit for the older 200m glider we have in house. Teledyne Webb Research was awarded the PO for this bid, G3 1000M Slocum package (w/trade in). The project includes funding to procure a Nortek ADCP. This purchase would be specific for the science bay in the SOSE/USM G3 Slocum glider.
