Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Edmond (“the City” or “Edmond” or “COE”) is seeking proposals for a comprehensive analysis of Edmond’s sustainability efforts, citywide emissions baseline study, and detailed plan and metrics for longrange climate action-related strategic goals. This project should include analysis and recommendations for energy use reduction, renewable energy expansion, air quality, water conservation, water quality, and lowimpact development, waste reduction, clean transportation (including EV-readiness), green building, climate resiliency, and best practices for land use, economic development, and urban design. The primary aim for the final product is that it functions as a guide for sustainability, informing ongoing updates to the Zoning Code and Building Code, as well as other strategic sustainability initiatives identified in the Plan. A secondary objective is to detail a technological solution in the Plan to provide a real-time, or semi-live, performance monitoring and visualization dashboard, which relates to the City’s data collections. While a visualization dashboard is not required in this proposal, we are requesting that platforms and/or partners be recommended in the plan, and alternatively included. See section 9.10. Funding acquired through grants anticipates that $146, 020 will be available for this Plan, and program expansion options may be forthcoming through future grant opportunities. Funding is being provided as a part of a federal grant and is subject to all the regulations required therein.
