Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Cut, chop or break all trees within treatment area at base in 30 foot strips with one pass only. The site will alternate with 30' mechanically cut strips with 30' leave strips. All aspen is less than 5" in DBH and are bent or broken and potentially oriented in different directions. Other species may be mixed in with aspen in 30 ft treatment areas and should be treated as well. B. Access roads and trails within the site shall not be treated, unless designated for dragging by the Project Supervisor. C. If rain or other precipitation events create a significant change in frozen ground conditions while work is in progress, the Contractor must stop operation and contact the Project Supervisor D. Any portion of the treatment area that the Contractor considers inoperable must be discussed with the Project Supervisor, and may not be left untreated without the Project Supervisor’s approval. If areas larger than ½ ac is mutually agreed to be inoperable, the final cost of the work will be reduced by the bid rate.
