Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Alaska Miliary Youth Academy (AMYA) is seeking information from qualified vendors for a staff leadership training to assist staff in adopting an ownership mentality in the overall mission of the Academy. Training should focus in teaching staff to lead up and down a chain of command, taking ownership in each individual job specific mission, focus on accountability, removing ego and personalization in the workplace to facilitate a strong team-oriented approach. AMYA is a quasi-military academy, as such, the leadership training will need to account for the specific nuances of this type of work environment. The location of the leadership train will be at Camp Carroll, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska. The exact dates are to be determined based on AMYA availability. Tentative dates would be during the last two weeks in June 2024 or the first two weeks in July 2024. This will be a one (1) day event, for approximately 8 hours, which will include a one (1) hour lunch break.
