Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SRTS planning project focuses on developing a comprehensive SRTS Plan that integrates engagement, engineering, education, encouragement, evaluation and equity. As a part of this project, a prioritization method will need to be created to determine priority schools for in-depth school planning assistance. It is anticipated that 7-10 schools will receive in-depth planning assistance as a part of this project. Other work includes analysis of Unusually Hazardous Transportation Areas and recommendations for improvements that could reduce those areas and increase safety for walking and biking. Racial equity, social justice, safety, and access are core principles for this planning work.
