Specifications include, but are not limited to: Host a total of six hands-on culinary education workshops between 2024-2026. Two workshops will be held each summer (June-July) in different regions of the state, in order to ensure maximum access to this opportunity for all SFAs. Workshops will be scheduled not to conflict with key child nutrition conferences such as SNAU and ANC. Each workshop will accommodate up to 24 participants and be hosted by a team of at least 2 chef instructors. USBE Responsibilities: Coordinate with Utah food service programs and other partners to determine course locations Coordinate with site location hosts and contractor to determine dates for each workshop Work with site locations to ensure all necessary equipment (including A/V set up) is provided Manage participant recruitment, pre-registration, and stipends Provide printing as necessary for workshop materials Provide on-site support for each workshop (day-of and one day prior), including assisting with set-up, on-site participant registration/check-in, name badges, and other logistic support as needed.
