Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1. The FMS Vendor shall perform the following tasks in relation to oversight of the self-directed employer fiscal model: 1.2. Be responsible for performing tasks on behalf of participants who choose to self-direct and/or their family/designated representative. These tasks include, but are not limited to: 1.2.1. Have a robust customer service plan and ensure all communication is responded to promptly, accurately, politely, and appropriately. 1.2.2. Facilitate and support the enrollment of participants who choose to self-direct through training and support with spending plan development during enrollment and periodic updates as changes occur in legal responsibilities, procedures, reporting and/or systems. 1.2.3. Create, monitor, and provide quality spending plan information, support, and management. 1.2.4. Perform all functions of Fiscal/Employer Agents under Section 3504 of the Internal Revenue Code and IRS Revenue Procedure 2013-39 on behalf of the Employer/Employee. 1.2.5. Support participant/employers to hire workers. 1.2.6. Assist participant/employers in arranging a back-up plan if employee is unable to provide the services. 1.2.7. Perform all payroll-related duties. 1.2.8. Produce a variety of reports as required by the State of Nevada. 1.2.9. Safeguard Protected Health Information in compliance with HIPAA and HITEC guidelines. 1.2.10. Conduct billing for certain waiver services on behalf of the waiver participants. 1.2.11. Maintain quality assurance standards.
