Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will supply all the materials, tools, equipment and labor. • Remove and replace existing pier stringers and decking. • Installation of two new 6X6 gallows frames at each ramp location. • Disconnect, remove or lower existing gangway to allow for pier decking and framing to be removed, all existing decking and pier stringers will be removed and disposed of by contractor. • Materials: • New pier stringers to be installed and pinned to existing bent caps. All Pier stringers to be #2 6X12 S4S UC4B pressure treated southern yellow pine. All stringers to be pinned with ¾” X 18” hot dipped galvanized pin stock or machine bolts. Additional HDG hardware will be added to secure stringers to bent cap, TBD. The existing dimensions and configuration of pier will not be altered during this repair process. • All decking to be #2 4”X10” S4S UC4B Pressure treated southern yellow pine. All new decking to be fastened with a #14X8” BTX timber screw with Torx drive head. • New gallows frames to be installed at both ramp locations. All gallows frame timber to be #2 6X6 S4S pressure treated southern yellow pine fastened with 1?2” diameter HDG carriage bolts. Top pin stock to be 5/8”X10” HDG pin stock or machine bolts
