The stumps of undesirable species should be treated with chemical to prevent resprouting. Double band girdling will be acceptable but not within a canopies distance from any road or trail. This practice will remove most of the overstory, creating a dense stand of young new natural and planted regeneration. Roads, trails and crop fields should be cleared of any debris. Access is as shown on the maps and the project should be completed with cooperation of the adjacent crop fields.; Task 2: Stand 30 (Stand Conversion TSI) – 23 Acres Description: All trees 1” and larger in diameter should be cut off at the ground.
