Specifications include, but are not limited to: Critical Care Transport Training: During the term of this Agreement, the vendor shall provide a total of six (6) courses, for a total of up to 144 participants, in three (3) locations related to critical care transport. These courses must be from the Society of Critical Care Medicine and delivered in-person. a. Adult Fundamentals of Critical Care Support - The Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) course provides healthcare professionals, including nonintensivists, with the training to manage critically ill patients for the first 24 hours or until appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged. The course concentrates on adult critical care but also includes separate sections on critical care for pregnancy and pediatrics. ○ Concord, NH area - Two (2) Courses with up to 24 participants each. ○ Bethlehem, NH area - One (1) Course with up to 24 participants. ○ Cheshire, NH area - One (1) Course with up to 24 participants. b. Pediatric Fundamentals of Critical Care Support - Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support (PFCCS) trains nonintensivists to recognize critical illness and initiate care for the critically ill pediatric patient and is recommended for any healthcare professional who may encounter a critically ill or injured pediatric patient. The course addresses fundamental management principles for the first 24 hours of post-resuscitation management of the critically ill pediatric patient or until transfer or appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged. ○ Concord, NH area - One (1) Course with up to 24 participants. c. Fundamentals of Critical Care Support - Obstetrics - Fundamental Critical Care Support: Obstetrics (FCCS: OB) provides training specific to treating the critically ill or injured pregnant patient. The course is recommended for healthcare professionals who may provide maternal/fetal critical care and for clinicians in obstetrics seeking critical care training. ○ Concord, NH area - One (1) Course with up to 24 participants.
