Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The selected proposer and LMPD will work together to provide mental health services to the members of the Louisville Metro Police Department. 2. Provide a team of professional and ethical administration and operation of psychological services for law enforcement. 3. Consult with police commanding officers in developing and maintaining department wellness programs as it relates to mental health. 4. Apply professional psychological principles, theories, and techniques to assess and treat a variety of clinical situations encountered in the delivery of police services. 5. Provide routine, annual and emergency/crisis clinical psychological evaluation to employees and their immediate families, by providing assessment, psychotherapy, consultation, and referral services. 6. Conduct fitness for duty evaluations, evidence-based psychotherapy episodes of care, and referral management services. 7. Provide in-house mental health screenings and services to LMPD employees on a walk-in basis. 8. Provide a professional psychologist and/or counselor to physically occupy an office space Monday – Friday during normal business hours at the LMPD Summit Wellness Center located at 601 Presidents Blvd in Louisville, KY. Should also have access to an offsite space, if requested by an individual. 9. Provide department command and management staff with psychological consultative services relative to overall personnel and performance issues, non-specific to members. 10. Conduct needs assessments, develops plans, organizes, and presents professional training incorporating psychological concepts in support of an optimized mental health program.
