Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1. CTH KP over Garfoot Creek - Project Purpose and Need The purpose of this project is to replace the CTH KP bridge that was extended 5.5' on both sides in 1964, but has an unknown age for the original structure. It is a slab span structure with concrete abutments. The structure is 15.5-feet span, 5.5-feet tall, and 32.2-feet wide. CTH KP is classified as a Rural Major Collector and the bridge is located over the Garfoot Creek in the Town of Cross Plains. This project is 100% locally funded. 3.2. CTH KP over Garfoot Creek - Project Description A. The scope includes both preliminary and final design of the new structure. B. The new structure is to be hydraulically-sized and designed to current WisDOT/Bureau of Structures standards. C. The new bridge is proposed to be a 30-feet span and 60-feet long, 3-sided box culvert constructed on the current alignment. D. The proposed length of the approach work is approximately 150-feet each, for a total project length of approximately 330-feet. E. This project is currently scheduled for construction in 2025. 3.3. CTH KP over Garfoot Creek - Deliverables The selected consultant is responsible for providing and completing the following deliverables which include but may not be limited to: A. DNR and Dane County Land and Water Resources Permitting H. Design Computations I. Preliminary Plans J. Traffic Control K. R/W Plat (if needed) L. Scour Computations and Scour Code M. Structure inventory sheets and application for the bridge number through the Bureau of Structures N. All Final Plans to construct the bridge
