Specifications include, but are not limited to: Brentwood City Hall is home to City Administration, Planning & Codes, Finance, HR, Technology, and Engineering departments, and the Brentwood Fire Department Headquarters. It was originally constructed in 1987 and has had various interior buildouts completed since. The building exterior is brick and CMU with numerous storefront windows along the perimeter. The interior walls are CMU and stud framing. The gross square footage of the building is approximately 56,477 GSF. Approximately 32,321 square feet of the existing 56,477 square foot City Hall will undergo selective demolition and subsequent interior renovation. The Work consist of finish upgrades through the renovated area from floor to ceiling on the first and second floors, accessibility upgrades in restrooms and locker rooms as well as new restrooms, updated and more secure reception desks at main lobbies, new conference areas and break rooms. Other items include rework to the existing electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems. A new fire alarm system will be provided throughout the entire building. The facility will remain operational during construction and phasing will be required. The Pre-Qualified GCs shall competitively procure and contract with the trade contractors and assume the responsibility and the risk of construction delivery within the terms. It is anticipated that the date for the start of construction will be the first quarter of 2024. The Architect for the project (TMPartners) is completing the Construction Documents phase.
