Specifications include, but are not limited to: Successful bidder will clean, prep, and coat the internal pipe of our condenser supply line, return elbow, and end bells of the condenser (both sides) using either Spray in Place method, Cure in Place method, or coating by hand. The minimum thickness of the lining shall be 0.35” on the pipe as well as the condenser end bells. Tubes inside the condenser shall be taped off to prevent overspray on the tubes. The condenser supply line is an underground pipe coming from two (2) cooling tower circulation pumps connected to 24” lines that are Y’d together to a 36” line that goes to the condenser (See attached drawing). The bidder will be responsible for removing and re-installing any piece of equipment/pipe for access to the line. The pipe shall be inspected for any conditions that may prevent proper installation of the coating. The coating shall be installed and tested in accordance with the applicable ASTM standard. See below pictures for entrance points and internal piping inspection report. The Bidder shall inspect the pipelines after the lining is complete with experienced personnel trained in locating breaks, obstacles and service connections using close circuit television (CCTV). Once the installation and testing has been accepted, the Bidder shall restore the project area to a condition at least equal to that existing prior to the work. NOTES: 1. Pipe Size – 36” 2.
