Specifications include, but are not limited to: Staging Location: The nearest airport is the Michael army Airfield but it is unavailable for this project. There are suitable areas for rotary aircraft within the seeding area and improved dirt roads to access it. The project requires a helicopter, and no fix winged bids will be accepted. Acreage: 1250 acres. This is a flat plane acreage calculation. No adjustments will be made for slope. Bids are to be submitted on a cost per acre basis. Seeding Rate: Seeding rate is 10.52 bulk pounds per acre consisting of a mix of grasses, forbs, and shurbs. Seed is mixed into bulk totes weighting approximately 1250 lbs. GPS Technology: The aircraft must be equipped with a global positioning system that is used to establish lines for 100% coverage. Flight lines must be received by the government prior to any payment(s) being issued.
