Specifications include, but are not limited to: Bid Item 1 – Mobilization -- This bid item includes the mobilization of personnel, equipment and supplies at the project site in preparation for the Work, as well as the establishment and maintenance for the duration of the Contract of the Contractor’s sanitary facilities, protective fencing and barricades not included elsewhere, necessary facilities, and all other costs incurred or labor and operations which must be performed prior to beginning the other items under the Contract. This item shall include any costs for required bonding of this project. This item shall also include marshalling, disassembly and security of all items indicated on the Construction Drawings or Specifications or installed as part of mobilization and demobilization from the site. Payment will be made in two installments: the first 60% will be paid on the first month’s pay estimate, and the remaining 40% after the final cleanup has been completed and approved. Bid Item 2 – Site Prep & Earthwork -- This bid item includes all labor, materials, equipment, and independent testing services for Demolition and removal of existing concrete foundation, site grading and earthwork as noted on the plans and specifications. This item includes but is not limited to: any costs for preparatory earthwork, clearing and grubbing, soil testing, borrow and hauling, backfill, and compaction. This pay item also includes all repairs to areas surrounding the limits of disturbed area. Payment will be made at the contract price at the lump sum bid price. Bid Item 3 – Furnish & Install Manufactured Residence – 5 Bedroom 5 Bathroom -- This bid item includes all material, labor, equipment, and incidental costs associated with the complete installation of the manufactured residence at the location shown on the plans. This bid item includes, but is not limited to: The complete building system, erected on the site as shown in the plans. All labor, materials, and submittals associated with the insulation installation as described in the specifications and drawings. All appliances referenced in the project drawings. Any additional work and/or material required for a fully functional residence. This bid item also includes all required shop drawings, submittals, certifications, and inspections. The building will be measured and paid as a completed building unit in place. Progress payments will be made based on a percentage of the completed work, at the lump sum bid price. Please contact the CPW Design Engineer for any questions prior to bid submittal regarding the applicable specifications if any questions are developed after thoroughly reviewing the included specifications package and general standard specifications. Bid Item 4 – Furnish & Install Residence Foundation -- This bid item includes all design costs, submittals, material, labor, equipment, independent testing services and incidental costs associated with the complete foundation installation. The foundation bid item consists of all building foundation walls, footers, blocks and tie downs, and crawlspace access. It also includes structural excavations including over excavation, backfill, compaction, testing and soil observation as directed by the CPW Project manager. These pay items include but are not limited to: formwork, dewatering, and inserts and fastening devices, and all other supplies necessary for the complete installation as described in the drawings and specifications. These additional items shall not be measured separately but shall be included in the related construction. This bid item will be paid on a lump sum basis as shown in the bid schedule.
