Specifications include, but are not limited to: Salt Lake City Corporation (the "City") is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified consultants for a study, conceptual design refinement, public engagement, and final design of the 300 West protected bicycle lanes from 300 South to 900 South. This project will connect the existing protected bike lanes on 300 South and the 9 Line Trail, and the 300 West protected bikeway at 900 South. Upon selection of the consultant team, the City will enter scope and fee negotiations for both the project phases listed below. • Phase 1: Concept Development o evaluate existing conditions in the project area (including traffic volumes, parking analysis, and roadway impacts of development occurring along the corridor); o collect additional existing conditions data if needed; o engage the public, businesses, and project stakeholders; o collect and synthesize public and stakeholder input, and provide feedback on how the public input was used; o revise the preliminary concept design for the project area (attached); o provide an Engineer’s Estimate of the revised concept design. • Phase 2: Final Design o complete final design PS&E; o provide RFI support during bidding and construction; o provide design support during construction.
