Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Testing Agency shall provide professional Special Inspection and Material Testing Services for the project and in accordance with the full scope indicated by the Statement of Special Inspections included with this proposal and as indicated in the schedule of unit prices. The Testing Agency shall work with the Owner, the Special Inspections Coordinator, the Architect, and the Construction Manager in all related aspects of the project. The Testing Agency shall execute Special Inspections and Testing services in a fully transparent manner, and in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local statutes, regulations, codes, and ordinances, including, but not limited to, those of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM International) requirements and standards. The agreement for Special Inspections and Testing services shall be executed directly with the City of West Haven, and as such, the Testing Agency shall operate as an independent Contractor in the performance of its services. The Testing Agency shall coordinate their services with the designated Special Inspections Coordinator and those of the Construction Manager, and Architect. The Testing Agency shall further distribute regular reporting to the Owner, Special Inspections Coordinator, Construction Manager and Architect via electronic mail the results of inspections and testing.
