Specifications include, but are not limited to: UHR is requesting proposals from companies to provide enrollment administrative services including communications and waiver support for our SSHIP program. The selected vendor would provide an enrollment portal for both mandatory and voluntary SSHIP members. The vendor would assist with all communications regarding open enrollment and other periods where students could/would enroll in SSHIP. We are also expecting this vendor to support all aspects of the SSHIP waiver process as well as supporting enrollment of Visiting Scholars. This vendor should be able to support a hard waiver process if the University ever elects to move in this direction. Other specific services we are interested in: Assist ISU and Wellmark with a solution for emergency medical evacuation, medically advisable repatriation, and repatriation of remains. Support Visiting Scholars on a month-to-month basis to accommodate their being on campus outside the standard semester Institution. Visiting Scholars will have the flexibility to enroll and pay on a monthly basis. Administer / manage a waiver program for students who have a mandatory insurance requirement (e.g., international, and medical students). Vendor will monitor, maintain, and audit the insurance waiver process. The waiver process will allow students to submit their personal insurance for review and possible exemption if their policy meets predetermined guidelines. Accept enrollment lists for individual enrollment Provide as needed support to students including, but not limited to fielding student insurance inquiries year round; providing insured students and their dependents with proof of insurance coverage; ensure students understand plan and benefits by providing student orientation and educational efforts If requested, participate in / attend outreach events (e.g., student orientations, etc.) to explain and promote the plan. Contractor will help market the plan to students and will provide orientation videos for the students. Provide and maintain a website for domestic students and international students. The student websites will allow students to obtain information about the policy, enroll in the plan, find a physician, among other things. The websites must provide enrollment links for dental and other plan options.
