Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Lockers / Hanging Racks Sufficient lockers must be supplied for the Maintenance of Way (MOW) location for the storage of clean clothing. The actual number of 6” lockers required shall be confirmed by the vendor based on the number of employees listed. Lockers shall remain the property of the vendor. Keys are to be provided and included. The cost of lost keys should be indicated in the bid response. A sufficient number of bins must also be provided for the storage of dirty laundry, i.e., must be sufficient to hold the amount of soiled laundry to be picked up based on the number of employees at each location. Flame retardant uniforms shall have a separate dirty laundry bin. Hanging racks are to be provided for the MOE shop and one rack for MOW Jackets. B. Bag Charges No charge. Any associated cost shall be included in uniform rental fee. C. Measurement The contractor shall arrange to measure all employees within two weeks of award. All sizing will be done on-site. At the time of measure, the awarded vendor will have on display the various uniform style options listed herein for their respective departments. Valley Metro staff will be fitted with care to insure proper sizing and first class appearance. Any shrinking factors should be considered when sizing. In the event of employee size changes due to increase or decrease in weight or height, the successful bidder will make the necessary size adjustments and/or provide new uniforms at no cost to Valley Metro. There is to be no additional per week charge for extra large sizes.
