Specifications include, but are not limited to: establishing locations for existing underground and overhead utilities to determine facility impacts within the proposed project limits in various New Mexico Department of Transportation (Department) construction projects. This includes all necessary research, field investigations, surveying, mapping, test holes (potholes), and SUE services relative to existing or proposed utility systems within all types of highway and bridge construction projects. This task may also include survey services, estimating services for either wet utilities, dry utilities such as telecommunication, power, natural gas, or petroleum facilities, utility coordinating services, utility conflict analysis, and AutoCAD 3-D modeling.
