Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Iowa (Iowa) is seeking to gather information on solutions that are currently on the market that enable implementation of a mobile credential system for the campus. The University of Iowa presently offers its students, faculty, and staff a comprehensive service package through the Iowa One Card program. These services include identification, point of sales, and access control. The mobile credential solution would be one that is currently available on the market and would be expected to replicate all the functions currently handled by the physical card and integrate with existing platforms. The objective of this RFI is to gather information to assess the feasibility of implementing a mobile credential system at Iowa. The University will evaluate Supplier solutions for their ability to issue mobile credentials, integrate with our existing access control system, and add these credentials to mobile wallet platforms, such as Apple Wallet for iOS and Google Pay for Android. The ideal solution should be equipped with API capabilities, facilitating integration.
