Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. It is the intent of the Town of Woodbridge to process approximately 5,000+/- cubic yards (the pile) of green waste materials, inclusive of branches, logs, and stumps, ground to a reduced size for transport and removal from site. Materials shall be utilized in manner acceptable to Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). It is the responsibility of the processor to provide adequate equipment necessary to feed materials to the processing equipment from the stockpile of raw material. Processed material shall be stockpiled on-site as specified by the Town and/or Director of Public Works. 2. Work hours are to be Monday through Friday; 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. that are to be considered "regular" work hours. No work will be done during regular scheduled holidays, weekends, and unforeseen closures. 3. Material is located behind the Woodbridge Town Hall & Public Works Garage. Should a vendor wish to view the debris before submitting a bid, the vendor must contact the Public Works Office at (203) 389-3420 to schedule a viewing time. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis during regular workdays from 8:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. 4. All vendors must provide proof of insurance for all vehicles and employees while working on Town property. A certificate of insurance must be submitted by the awarded vendor to the Public Works Office before the start of work. This certificate of insurance must name the Town of Woodbridge as an additional insured. 5. The Town of Woodbridge expects all vendors to be familiar with all OSHA Safety Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines and adhere to all of these.
