Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1 Contractor shall have the ability to perform international background check services on each POI, if applicable and requested. 3.1.2 Contractor shall have the ability to perform national background check services on each POI that is tied to the Social Security Number provided. 3.1.3 Contractor shall have the ability to perform background check services on physical, non-digital records that require manual examination, in addition to completely digital records. 3.1.4 System shall permit each POI to self-report, submitting all authorization and self-identifying information. (State staff shall not receive PII from the POI unless POI requests accommodation.) 3.1.5 Background checks shall be initiated within the System once the POI has provided their authorization and necessary PII and HR has been notified.
