Specifications include, but are not limited to: Minnesota Department of Human Services, Behavioral Health Division (“STATE”), is seeking proposals from applicants to administer and manage the STATE Problem Gambling Program Training Scholarship Fund for one (1) year. The successful applicant will administer scholarship reimbursements for training certified by the International Gambling Counselor Certifications Board (IGCCB) to qualified professionals who wish to become problem gambling treatment service providers, as well as those supporting in the continuum of care. The successful applicant will: 1) oversee the process of reviewing and approving or denying applications for the scholarship, 2) respond to questions from interested scholarship applicants, 3) maintain a record of proof of payment for approved scholarship applicants, 4) maintain a record of proof of successful course completion for approved scholarship applicants, 5) report scholarship reimbursement requests to STATE, and 6) issue reimbursements to approved scholarship applicants.
